Atomic Energy Research Establishment School and College

Atomic Energy Research Establishment School and College (AERESC) began its journey in 1983, initially as a high school for the children of employees residing within the Atomic Energy Research Establishment (AERE) campus and for students from nearby areas. It was recognized as a school serving the community, and in 2008, the institution was expanded to include college-level education, adopting its current name.

AERESC is a part of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) and operates under the oversight of a governing body chaired by the Director General of AERE. The institution is located within the AERE campus and benefits from its well-structured environment and dedicated support.

At present, AERESC serves more than 1,600 students, with over 37 teachers and 13 administrative staff working to provide a balanced, high-quality education. The institution is committed to cultivating morally upright and capable citizens who can meet the challenges of the modern world. AERESC's academic discipline, well-coordinated educational system, and carefully planned extracurricular activities are well-known throughout the area.
